IIRRM Conference Media & Recording Policy

Photography, Recording, and Online Participation

By attending this conference, whether in person or virtually, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Photography & Videography: Conference organizers and participants may capture photographs and video recordings throughout the event, including general sessions, panel discussions, networking areas, and virtual Q&A segments. These materials may be used in future promotional materials, educational content, and social media.
  • Online Participation: If you submit questions or participate in discussions online, your contributions may be recorded and shared as part of conference materials.
  • Opt-Out Option: If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in advance by emailing kathleen@iirrm.org or contacting us onsite at the registration desk. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Please note we have no control over attendees pictures and social posts during the event, if you have concerns please let them know directly.

Attendee Recording & Use Restrictions

To protect intellectual property and respect speaker rights, attendees are expected to follow these guidelines:

  • No Unauthorized Recording: Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute full conference sessions, panel discussions, or speaker presentations without prior written permission from IIRRM and the speaker.
  • Limited Personal Use: Short clips (under 60 seconds) for personal reference or social media sharing (without monetization) are permitted, provided they do not misrepresent or alter the speaker content.
  • No Commercial Use: Attendees may not use any recorded material from the conference for commercial purposes, including but not limited to paid courses, promotional materials, or resale.

Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully with speakers, panelists, and fellow attendees.
  • Follow conference policies regarding media, recording, and professional conduct.

Violations of this policy may result in removal from the conference without a refund.
