Present your research in our poster and oral sessions

Early Bird Submission closes May 15 2025

Instructions and requirements for submitting and presenting research abstracts

The International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine invites you to submit a scientific abstract for poster presentation consideration at the 2025 International Clinical & Scientific Congress for Restorative Reproductive Medicine, hosted in Zagreb Croatia on September 26-27 2025.  The top abstracts in each category will be invited to introduce their research as a 5-minute oral presentation during the proceedings of the main conference. Now in its 21st year, our poster and oral abstract sessions are an integral part of the annual congress and an opportunity to share your work with attendees from across the globe.

Abstracts are welcome in any area relevant to restorative reproductive medicine (RRM).

Specific areas of interest include:

  • infertility & recurrent pregnancy loss
  • integrated systems of restorative reproductive medicine
  • fertility awareness/fertility awareness based methods
  • endocrinology
  • andrology
  • epidemiology
  • reproductive anatomy and physiology
  • psychosocial dimensions of human reproduction
  • women’s reproductive health management
  • environmental factors impacting human reproductive health
  • research comparing restorative and non-restorative approaches to reproductive medicine
  • other topics relevant to restorative reproductive medicine

Guidelines for Submission:

1.  Abstracts may be of original research, systematic literature reviews, theoretical development, systematic clinical observation, or clinical quality improvement.  Abstracts should reflect work in process or work completed but not yet published. Case reports and case series are also encouraged.

2.  Submission Deadlines:

  • Early Bird Deadline: May 15 2025
  • Regular Submission Deadline: July 1 2025
  • Late Submission Deadline: August 15 2025

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis above. All abstracts must be received no later than August 15 2025.  The decision of acceptance or rejection will be sent one week following each submission deadline.

3.  Abstracts must be submitted in English and are limited to a maximum of 500 words, including the title. The only identifier in the abstract text should be the title (no authors or affiliations). Abstracts should not contain charts, diagrams, or tables.

4.  All abstracts must be submitted using the online abstract submission system.  The contact details entered are those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract.  If additional authors were involved, the presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.

5.  You will receive an acknowledgement we received your abstract shortly after submission. If you do not receive a notice, please send an email to secretariat@iirrm.org to make sure we have received your abstract.

6. If you are submitting multiple abstracts for presentation each abstract must be submitted separately.

7.  Each abstract is reviewed blindly and will be judged for scientific quality, innovation, and relevance to, and consistency with a restorative approach to reproductive medicine.

8.  If your abstract is accepted, you will be asked to submit a current bio sketch, 100 words or less, for publication in the program and the IIRRM website and complete an online faculty disclosure, including disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest.

9.  All presenters must register for the conference and pay the meeting registration fee.  All abstracts accepted will also be published on the website of the International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine during and following the conference.

10.  Research posters will be displayed throughout the day of the meeting on both Friday and Saturday, with dedicated time for viewing, as well as during breaks.  The top 6 posters in each category will be invited to introduce their research as a 5-minute oral presentation (3-minute oral, 2-minute discussion) during the proceedings of the main conference. This can be a walk through of your poster on one slide or consist of multiple slides.

11.  Poster presenters will be provided with a stand to hold a standard AO poster size of 48” x 36”.   Your poster should not exceed this size.  Orientation may be either portrait or landscape. Posters should identify the title of the paper, authors, and their affiliations at the top or bottom of their poster. Posters must be in English, however if you are invited for oral presentation you are welcome to present in Spanish or English.  Further information and support for preparing and printing your poster can be found at: https://iirrm.org/tips-and-resources-for-creating-effective-research-posters/

12.  Authors may present either in-person or online. All presenters, regardless of their format, must display a poster in our Research Poster Gallery and provide an e-poster (PPTX, PDF, etc.) for those joining virtually.  Printing can be arranged by the author, or a link for printing posters will be provided with delivery to the hotel. The cost of printing is the responsibility of the authors.

13. Awards: The IIRRM Annual Conference Poster Special Recognition recognizes the top posters in one of 4 categories :

  • Student/Resident Award
  • Case Report/Case Series Award
  • Clinical & Science Award – Early Practice/Career (first 5 years)
  • Clinical & Science Award – Mid/Late Career (6 years+)

Congress delegates are invited to view and discuss with authors the posters, and vote for the top poster in each category. A cash prize will be awarded for the top poster in each category.  With the exception of case reports/series, all awards are based on the first author of the paper. Posters are evaluated for research quality and scientific impact of the research to advance knowledge or practice in the field of Restorative Reproductive Medicine.  Awards will be announced, and the recipients will be recognized during the closing of the Congress on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
