Visa Information & Letters of Invitation

IIRRM issues letters of invitation to international attendees and faculty wishing to attend our conference. To request a letter of invitation please ensure you are first registered for the Congress. IIRRM is unable to issue letters of invitation without payment of registration. If you reside in a country that requires a VISA we reccomend you apply at least 4-6 months prior to the Congress date.

Who does not need a visa

Citizens of all countries of the European Union, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, most of the countries of North and South America, members of the Schengen Agreement, and some other countries do not need a visa but only a valid passport to enter Croatia. You can confirm here.

The current member countries of the Schengen Agreement are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria (Schengen Air & Sea agreement), Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania (Schengen Air & Sea Agreement), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Travellers from all other regions will likely require a visa to enter Croatia.

Invitation Letter Request

IIRRM cannot accept any responsibility for Visa applications nor will it influence the processing of Visas.  It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to obtain the necessary paperwork for entry to Croatia. You are responsible for applying for the appropriate visa with the proper documentation. All expenses related to the event and visas are the participant’s responsibility. The Congress invitation letter is only issued upon completion of registration and payment of the registration fee. In case that the visa application is refused by an Embassy/Consulate Office, no refund is processed. As we are a hybrid event we will switch your registration to an online delegate which allows you to participate in the Congress, earn CME and interact with other delegates and speakers.
