Visa Information & Letters of Invitation for the 2026 IIRRM Congress in Orlando

 

IIRRM can provide invitation letters to attendees and faculty attending the conference. To request a letter, you must be registered and paid. We recommend applying for your visa 4-6 months before the Congress. ESTA’s are ususally issues within 72 hours. ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) is an automated system for citizens of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries to get permission to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without a visa.

Do I need a visa?

1) Visa Waiver Program (VWP / ESTA) — no visa needed
Many travelers may enter the U.S. for conference/business travel for up to 90 days under the Visa Waiver Program, but must have an approved ESTA before travel.

Canada (note):Canadian citizens generally do not require a visa or ESTA for short visits such as attending a conference.
Stays of 30+ days may require an I-94, so please confirm current requirements if staying longer than 30 days.

2) Visitor Visa (B-1 / B-2) — visa required
If you are not eligible for VWP/ESTA, or you plan to stay longer than 90 days, you will generally need a B-1 (business), B-2 (tourism), or B-1/B-2 visitor visa. Apply through a U.S. Embassy/Consulate well in advance and please request a letter of invitation below after your registration for the Congress is complete.

IIRRM cannot influence visa decisions or processing. All visa-related costs are the attendee’s responsibility. Invitation letters are issued only after registration and payment.

If a visa is refused, your registration may be transferred to an online option (where available) so you can still participate and earn CME.
